Who Will Be Crowned The Champion?
The Outback Festival in Winton offers the unique Outback Iron Man, Women, and Junior events for those who want to test their strength and endurance. Held over multiple days, these events are designed to challenge participants and showcase the ruggedness and toughness of the outback.
They are a great way to get involved and experience the thrill of competition while also celebrating the unique culture of the outback.

- Outback Iron Man & Woman: $45
- Outback Iron Junior (12-15): $30
SCHEDULE
DAY 1 – Competitors will undertake a challenge of strength,
agility and speed in transferring fencing equipment over a measured distance
DAY 2 – Competitors test their skills while navigating their
way through the Long Waterhole watercourse. Covered shoes must now be worn by competitors as a safety issue and a requirement by the Outback Festival committee in line with Festival’s Public Liability Insurance
DAY 3 – Competitors take part in a Farmer’s Carry challenge
with a hay bale obstacle course
DAY 4 – Competitors will take on a 8KM road Challenge.
DAY 5 – Competitors’ final challenge push a 2WD (women) or 4WD (men) vehicle over a measured distance
iron man & Woman Prize monies
Cash: 1st $1,300, 2nd $850, 3rd $450
Cash incentive prizes will be awarded daily for 1st place $100, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $30
An encouragement and sportsperson award will be awarded and presented at the final ceremony Saturday 27th September

Awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Girls and Boys sections as well as trophy for Encouragement and Sportsperson awards
