GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
EVENT TICKETS:
- There are NO REFUNDS on any events tickets purchased for the Outback Festival Inc. All events tickets are non-refundable. Outback Festival may in exceptional and extenuating circumstances provide a refund provided a written request and supporting documentation is provided (eg: for a valid medical reason with accompanying proof of documents from a medical professional).
- Outback Festival strongly recommends purchasing appropriate Travel Insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances such as illness. etc.
- Incorrect purchases will be refunded only at the discretion of the event organizer.
- Every patron must have a valid ticket.
- Tickets can be printed or shown on your mobile phone. All tickets will be scanned on entry.
ORDERS:
By clicking the finalization Order button, you are agreeing to the able Terms and Conditions of sale, including the refund section. All orders are subject to credit card approval and billing address verification.
WET WEATHER:
NO REFUND will be given in the event of changes to the site locations in the event of wet weather events preventing use of venues. Ticket holder will be advised of alternate locations at the earliest convenience.
DISCLAIMER: Please be advised that attendees at the Outback Festival events may be photographed by official photographers. These photos may be used for future marketing and promotional activities. Please contact the Outback Festival Committee should you have any concerns.
FESTIVAL CAMPING BOOKINGS:
Every Person camping on the site during the Outback Festival must have a ticket.
- NO REFUNDS will be made should you decide not to camp or attend the Festival.
- Outback Festival strongly recommends purchasing appropriate Travel Insurance to cover for any unforeseen circumstances such as illness. etc.
- No Transferable Tickets: All Outback Festival tickets are non-transferable. This includes tickets for events, Club Paterson (Tent City), Festival Glamping and Festival Campsites.
Camping is provided at the Winton Outback Festival at the Winton Showgrounds for caravanners/motorhomers. Including Powered & Unpowered sites are available with 2 x Amenities and 2 x Sewerage Dump Points. Peak times for shower queues are in the mornings and later afternoons so please avoid these times if you don’t want to wait
- Club Paterson Tent City, Festival Glamping and Festival Caravan Camping are as follows:- Festival tickets must be purchased at the time of booking a camping site.
- No patrons are permitted to set up camp at the Winton Showgrounds until Sunday 21st September from 10.30am. Sites are to be vacated by Monday 28th September. No exceptions!
- Everything; including your van (including slide-outs) or tents etc. ropes, pegs etc. and vehicle must fit into your campsite.
- One vehicle only per site. Extra vehicles can be parked outside the grounds.
- Campfires are NOT permitted in the camping areas. No naked flames or fires allowed for safety reasons. You CAN use heat beads in an enclosed device (such as an OzPig and the likes) while you are at the campsite.
- Generators are allowed – but please don’t be THAT person who has all of your neighbours complaining…it makes the event organisers very cranky, and you will be asked to turn it off or may be asked to leave the grounds! GENERATOR HOURS ARE between 8am to 9pm only.
- All water taps on site are potable water. NO PERMANENT HOSES TO TAPS ARE TO BE HOOKED TO VANS. We recommend that you arrive to our festival with your water tanks full.
- Porta Potties are to be emptied at either of the (2) dump points situated on the grounds. Do not empty your cassettes into toilets on the grounds as Authorised by Winton Shire Council.
- Patrons on powered sites will need to provide their own extension cord (up to 30meters in length, depending on site position) to plug into the camping ground distribution board. All extension cords should be in good condition for everyone’s safety and fully tested.
PETS:
- Well behaved pets are welcome at the Outback Festival and must be restrained at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up a ‘’mess’’ deposited by their pet. This means YOU need to clean up after your pooch!
- NOTE: Winton Shire Council local law (Animal Management) advises; the following areas are Prohibited – Eric Lenton Memorial Recreation Ground, all Parks with the exception of assistance dogs to these areas.
- All pets must be on a lead when in public places. Please remember that not everyone loves your pet as much as you, so keep yours under control at all times.
ALCOHOL:
BYO Alcohol will NOT be permitted within the festival precinct.
- The Outback Festival has certain areas that a fully licensed, therefore only alcohol purchased from liquor bars at the Festival may be consumed on site. BYO alcohol will not be permitted within the Outback Festival venues and will be confiscated. Any person wishing to consume alcohol must have valid photographic ID (Australian driver’s license, ‘Proof of Age’’ card or valid Passport). We reserve the right to evict patrons who disobey or break Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation and the law.
- Any person found involved in underage drinking or caught with BYO alcohol within the festival precinct will have their wristband removed and be evicted from the festival site.
LIABILITY:
The Outback Festival Winton Inc takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. The patron enters the venue at their own risk and to the maximum extent permitted by the law, Outback Festival Winton Inc, its employees/volunteers and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of the event accept no liability for any injury, loss, claims, costs, expenses or damage which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect to the supply of goods or services (including liability for negligence) and to the extent permitted by the law in the supply of a recreational service.
PRIVACY POLICY
Outback Festival uses your personal information to:
- Enable you to purchase tickets and merchandise, including, where applicable, to process your credit card payment transactions.
- Send you your tickets to events held at our venues.
- Inform you if events change, or regarding refunds, exchanges where those are permitted.
- Gain an understanding of your interests and to enable us to research and develop our business to better accommodate those interests.
In addition, we may disclose your personal information as permitted or required by law.
