Hold onto your dacks and cheer on the fastest dunny in the west at our iconic Quilton Australian Dunny Derby as teams of five race past derby ‘obstacles’ to claim the golden porcelain bowl.

The famous Dunny Derby is Australia’s quirkiest event, run in partnership with the Primary Health Network Western Qld. (PHN) and QLD Department of Health, & the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program to promote the awareness of Bowel Cancer.

Derby Grand Final Winners: Wilderpiss Wanderers
Ladies Bracelet Winners: Swan Leak
Constipation Stakes Winners: Ship Wrecked
Best Presented: Strictly Bathroom

• Teams of 5 include two runners pushing, two runners pulling and jockey riding on their thunderbox in the dunny.

• The 200 metre Derby starts with the jockey running to their thunderbox before the team pushes/pulls their way through the obstacle field to the finish line.

• Teams compete for the fastest Dunny; the Constipation Stakes (best of the losers!) and best presented team and Outhouse.

• You’ll have the chance to help crown the crowd favourite; each team perform a choreographed performance as they roll out during the entrance parade.
