Grand Parade

The Grand Parade Spectacular is the culmination of the 2021 Outback Festival. Our parade theme for 2021 is “Winton Birthplace of QANTAS 1921-2021″.

11am to 11.30am – Saturday 25th

The Parade is a fantastic activity for the whole family to participate in together, from designing and building a float to travelling on it in the Parade to just watching them roll down Winton’s main street.

Each year, Winton’s businesses and community groups, along with festival visitors, strive to out-do each other in a display of creativity and colour. The Parade attracts around 50 floats, along with people on bikes, foot and four-legged animals (usually horses). When combined with the heritage machinery and trucks, the Parade stretches for four blocks through the main part of Winton.
